The article focuses on the project “Donne e impresa teatrale”, conceived by female cooperative En Kai Pan in 2017 and culminating in the conference held in Naples in 2021. Particular attention has been paid to Feminist theatre and to theatrical cooperatives that gave new opportunities to women in art and life, from the Sixties to the Eighties. Through the analysis of the essays contained in the book entitled “Donne e impresa teatrale” as well, edited by Stefania Bruno and Loredana Stendardo, the article highlights two main problems still affecting Performing Arts world: gender gap and the difficulties suffered by women to get leadership roles. There are two possible strategies to improve the situation: the cooperative form, that was really effective in the past, and networking, also internationally, to gain visibility and decision-making power.

Attraverso l’analisi dei saggi contenuti nel libro curato da Stefania Bruno e Loredana Stendardo, l’articolo mette in luce due principali problemi che ancora oggi affliggono il mondo delle arti performative: il divario di genere e le difficoltà incontrate dalle donne nell’accedere a ruoli di leadership.

Abstract
