In this study, synthetic laundry wastewater was prepared to simulate effluents generated during typical household laundry processes and was treated using Pr-ZnO under simulated solar irradiation. After 140 minutes of treatment (60 minutes in the dark followed by 80 minutes of irradiation), reductions of up to 43% in organic matter and 41% in total organic carbon (TOC) were achieved using 0.52 g/L of the photocatalyst.

Abstract
In this study, synthetic laundry wastewater was prepared to simulate effluents generated during typical household laundry processes and was treated using Pr-ZnO under simulated solar irradiation. After 140 minutes of treatment (60 minutes in the dark followed by 80 minutes of irradiation), reductions of up to 43% in organic matter and 41% in total organic carbon (TOC) were achieved using 0.52 g/L of the photocatalyst.File in questo prodotto:
