Digital Job Platforms (DJPs) are traditionally designed to prioritize the technical matching of candidates' qualifications with job requirements. However, this focus often neglects dimensions such as value alignment between candidates and organizations, as well as candidates' overall well-being. This paper examines how DJPs can evolve beyond their conventional role to serve as tools for integrating spirituality in the workplace. Grounded in fit theories, particularly Person-Organization Fit and Person-Value Fit, it underscores the significance of aligning individual career aspirations with organizational values to foster cohesive and sustainable work relationships. Through an analysis of the theoretical and practical intersections between workplace spirituality and recruitment technologies, this study proposes a novel framework that reimagines DJPs. This framework emphasizes holistic alignment, enabling these platforms to incorporate spiritual and values-based considerations early in the recruitment process. Workplace spirituality is presented as a mechanism for enhancing organizational cohesion, improving employee engagement, and addressing persistent challenges such as worker dissatisfaction and misalignment. By offering both theoretical insights and practical guidance, this paper provides a foundation for researchers and practitioners seeking to create more person-centered and spiritually enriched work environments through the innovative design and use of DJPs.
