Durkheim. L’individualismo come spirito guida dei nostri tempi e il governo del malessere sociale

There is no work by Durkheim that has not been dedicated to capturing the overall meaning of the evolution of the times. An evolution that he represented with the progressive autonomisation of the individual, seen at the same time as the positive spirit of an era and as an evil afflicting modern societies. The aim of this article is to account for this ambiguity, but above all to show the way out proposed by Durkheim: a regulatory socialism that calls on economic functions to collaborate with the governing centres of society.
