Two novel steroidal glycosides, gomophiosides A (I) and B (II) were isolated from G. watsoni along with balityloside F and 2 polyhydroxysteroids ((24S)-5α-cholestane-3β,6α,8,15β,24-pentol and (24S)-5α-cholestane-3β,4β,6α,8,15β,2-hexol). The structures of the new metabolites were detd. on the basis of spectral data.
