Persistent currents and magnetic susceptibility of two-junction quantum interferometers are calculated by means of perturbation analysis by solving, to second order in the SQUID parameter \beta, the coupled nonlinear differential equations governing the dynamics of this superconducting device in the absence of bias current. Comparison is made with results obtained to first order in \beta.
