In this paper we discuss how online learning communities can support overcoming of difficulties in secondary-tertiary transition. The effectiveness of cooperative and collaborative processes in such communities, anyway, need activities carefully designed. The use of external scripts, socialized in the community, can foster the interiorization of processes of launching towards high-level mathematical thinking and of self-regulation that lead students to be autonomous. In such frame, we present and analyze the results of an implementation of a cooperative script.
