Among the initiatives that promote a ‘secular’ concept of territorial identity, some are based on the shared acceptance of conceptual “loci” or “topoi”, linked to the values of active citizenship and to new forms of social cohesion. Their purpose is improving the quality of citizen participation in public space sharing: this is the case of urban experience, which concretely updates the interaction between the web and the territory, through a series of proposals, cultural projects and multimedial actions. An example in Italy is the “Urban Experience” association, born in Rome in 2009, aimed at transforming the city into a cultural design field through performing media. A condition of public space sharing that fosters in the citizens the sense of belonging to a common ‘homeland’, without barriers or borders.

Abstract
A condition of public space sharing that fosters in the citizens the sense of belonging to a common ‘homeland’, without barriers or borders.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
