Il Mobile Learning attraverso la nuova rete LoRaWAN a sostegno dell’apprendimento a distanza

Nowadays, Mobile Learning is a well-known approach to teaching-learning process and it can support teachers to produce virtual learning environments that offer new opportunities; with this learning approach, it is possible to produce and share mul-timedia contents and promote distance education. Although there are a relevant number of studies about Mobile Learning, it is still a relatively new phenomenon and it is continu-ously updated in a progressive revision and modification of its characteristics due to tele-communications technologies growth and its unstoppable evolution. The following article tried to provide a clear definition of Mobile Learning and its characteristics, besides this article try to describe how Mobile Learning could assist children and adolescents in daily learning both in formal and in informal learning places. Finally, this work explores the evolution of telecommunications technologies and it described Internet of Things and LoRaWan network to estimate how will be the Mobile Learning of tomorrow.
