The contemporary political, economic and social metamorphosis that inevitably will lead to a rise in special educational needs during the post-Covid phase, directly influence educational policies and lead to reflect on new factors in the implementation of training courses for learning support teachers. Studies highlight that teacher education promotes the acquisition of knowledge and intervenes in the motivation of the future teacher, important elements to react in a resilient and sustainable manner to the unpredictability of future scenarios. On the basis of these preconditions, the present work aims at validating the FIT-CHOICE scale and detecting the factors that may influence the motivation to undertake the career as a support teacher. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Italian version of the scale showed good psychometric capabilities both for detecting factors that affect motivation to become a teacher and for further comparative investigation with other tools.

Abstract
The Confirmatory Factor Analysis of the Italian version of the scale showed good psychometric capabilities both for detecting factors that affect motivation to become a teacher and for further comparative investigation with other tools.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
