Discussing the theme of “personal autonomy” in “digital relations” forces us to try to picture the human person in all its complexity in technological means. This involves turning the traditional will-based paradigm upside down. In fact, the access to the Internet and to electronic communication services involves a complex group of digital relationships (either bilateral or multilateral) between the user and those who operate on the internet offering goods and services. A large number of these relationships are implicit in nature and are based on declarations of “willingness” which are not specifically expressed or are lacking in information profiles (the so- called “internet cost traps”). These have a very important influence on the process of juridification and enforcement of the user’s acts of disposal.
