Abstract
The so called ‘Molise-Croatian’ is one of the Slavic minority languages existing on the Italian territory. The long-term absolute language contact, initially with the Italian ‘dialects’ and later with Standard Italian, has caused considerable changes at grammar and lexical levels. The task of this contribution consists in highlighting and discussing some part of the Molise-Croatian vocabulary of Romance origin that has direct correspondences with the Neapolitan “language” (dialect).
