The discovery in US archives of the original “scène lyrique” score mentioned by Alberto Savinio in a letter to his German friend, Fritz Gartz, at the end of 1913, affords Gregorio Nardi an opportunity to carry out a thoughtful and meticulous study that sheds new light not only on the young composer’s musical beginnings, but also on the origins and developments of Metaphysical Art as a worldview and “mechanism of thought” at a time of extraordinary creative fervor for both the de Chirico brothers.

Abstract
The discovery in US archives of the original “scène lyrique” score mentioned by Alberto Savinio in a letter to his German friend, Fritz Gartz, at the end of 1913, affords Gregorio Nardi an opportunity to carry out a thoughtful and meticulous study that sheds new light not only on the young composer’s musical beginnings, but also on the origins and developments of Metaphysical Art as a worldview and “mechanism of thought” at a time of extraordinary creative fervor for both the de Chirico brothers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
