Abstract

This paper presents a phaseless approach providing a qualitative estimate of the reflectivity of a planar target, from single frequency multi-monostatic acquisitions. The solution strategy is based on an approximated linear scattering model, reducing the computational burden, a smart scanning strategy reducing the number of required samples, an effective representation of the unknown reflectivity function and a proper optimization strategy. The performance of the phaseless imaging are experimentally validated.
