On the basis of detailed field investigations a geological map (1:25 000) has been drawn. Quaternary deposits, according to their age and genesis, are chiefly emphasised. By field surveys and aerial photograph analysis 55 active slope movements have been mapped. Landslide hazard is closely connected to the past slope evolution. High instability conditions (varying from 40% to 80%) in clayey-marly lithological complex results. Relatively lower instability (up to 40%) is found in the sandy-conglomerate suites and in the clastic sequences. -from English summary
